I stumbled upon photographer Graham Atkins-Hughes’ portfolio recently and discovered some fantastic photos of interiors. The following is my favourite – I am sure the paint technique was done for the purposes of this photo but the more I look at this photo, the more I think this might actually work in the real world. You just better make sure you like the table and accessories!
Here it is, probably my favourite chair EVER. I was thinking of getting two to put at each end of my dining table (as in the first photo). If you own one, send me a photo. I would love to see how you used it in your space.

I adore the colour pink. I think it’s so pretty and fresh and fun. I was so happy when my sister gave birth to a girl in July so I could buy my niece all sorts of pink clothes. When I was trying to decide what accent colour to use in my bedroom, I kept going back to pink. I decided to go for it and I LOVE it! So here are some bedrooms that predominantly use pink to inspire you all to think about trying pink in your own spaces.

“Lacquer your front door orange..”
“Lemon yellow is the essence of crispness and should not be overlooked.”
“Start a collection: ceramic animals, mannequin heads, other people’s high school yearbooks.”
“Buy rich ladies’ scarves and make them into pillows.”
“Put regal furniture in your bathroom. Stack your towels on a Louis chair upholstered in Pucci terrycloth, even if your bathroom is tiny.”
The man is a genius. If you don’t own that book, go out and buy it.

Vane Becidyan just sent me a link to one of the most amazing designers I’ve ever seen. Ghislaine Viñas‘s work leaves me speechless – it’s so graphic and colourful! She’s been featured in many magazines, including O At Home. There were so many amazing photos on her website that I think I’ll need to do a second installment for this post (so stay tuned!). (Thanks Vane!)
