Spižírna 1902 is a bistro in Prague designed by Kamil Štajgl and it is where I want to be hanging out today! The space is absolutely beautiful. The architect wanted visitors to feel as though they were snacking in a garden. Mission accomplished! A bonus is that the food on the bistro’s social media (IG / FB) looks delish!

I found a rendering and a before photo on their FB page – this was a serious undertaking!

I wanted to share another gem of a home designed by Cali-based firm Marmol Radziner. This one in Venice has really captured my heart with the interior blending seamlessly with the exterior. For this two-story home for a young family, we designed a series of screens and walls that provide privacy from the street and create an openness on the narrow site. The dining room opens onto the pool to the north and planted courtyard to the south, maximizing usable space and encouraging indoor-outdoor living.

Mas de Bigot is an absolutely beautiful 18th century hideaway in Saint Rémy de Provence. A “concept art home” designed by Gérard Faivre that is available for sale – fully renovated and decorated. It is 600 m², on 10 hectares that includes a lake, an olive grove, and a forest with a cabin. I think I’m in love! Anyone want to go halfsies on it? 🙂

We are the biggest fans of Paris architecture firm double g so it comes as no surprise that I adore the home of Anne Geistdoerfer (one half of the firm alongside Flora de Gastines). All of the built in shelving blows my mind (2 posts in a row!), and the colour palette of black, blue and green is dramatic and really beautiful. (Details on the space can be found in this article)

California-based, multi-disciplinary firm Marmol Radziner was responsible for the architecture and interiors of this simple yet really beautiful home in Los Angeles. The main house of this Rustic Canyon residence sits between two single-story concrete block structures that contain a guest bedroom suite and an artist’s studio and garage. The positioning of the house at the exterior edge of the site optimizes natural light and backyard views of the surrounding oak canopy. I have to admit, I for some reason am totally blown away with how they designed the shelving on the side of the stairs that has the table integrated into it. Saved that to my inspiration folder!
