From Switzerland to Italy and across the seas to Australia. From Marie Claire Maison to Elle Decor to Inside Out and Real Living. From modern and crisp contemporary to well lived in and loved. Beautiful rooms captured beautifully by photographer Angelita Bonnetti.
Deep, rich, ridiculously beautiful. Simple, stunning and strikingly ordinary. Beauty in the everyday and the special. Maybe a reminder of just how singular the simple things in life can be? Take the time to look deeply into the colour and the texture, the shape and even the shabbiness. Take the time to see the world through the eyes of stylist Sarah Cave. Via Big Leo.
We all swooned over Marie Olsson Nylander’s home. I know I am still in deep denial that it is not my home. Deep, deep denial. One day I WILL live there. In the mean time I can lust after her styling work. Marie Olsson Nylander via Harvest Agency.
… in the best way. I love this small atelier designed by Parisian designer extraordinaire Sarah Lavoine. To drown in the deep sea blue yet be bouyed by walls of white and rafts of texture. Petite yet packed with style.
I’m stalking on a Saturday but not on my home turf. I’m stalking a rather special apartment in Stockholm. Two floors of contemporary style meets old world charm, sleek chic meets aged natural finishes. It’s the home of Filippa Knutsson designed by Bjorn and Marianne Aaro of Aaro Architects. Swoon. Old dark timbers and new Dinesen oak floors, white walls and dark trim. I’d keep it just the way it is. A perfect marriage of modern and an earthy ethnic vibe. Sadly for us all it is no longer available but you’ll find the link here while it lasts.
