Sliding

How clever… and stylish! Sliding timber screens of solid and perforated slats open up spaces or conceal the kitchen from the living area in this small apartment by Sydney-based Koichi Takada Architects.

Just one more

They’re just too damn talented to limit it to two posts so I just had to dip back into Studio RO+CA‘s portfolio. Hip apartment living in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro just meters from the beach. How hot! How cool! How jealous am I! A bachelor pad meters from Ipanema beach. Please!

Continuing on from yesterday morning’s classy Italian apartment is this totally sexy apartment also by architecture and interior design firm Quincoces-Dragò & Partners. Complete with bondage chairs. European minimalism to envy.

Fantastic scandi inspiration

Posted on Thu, 26 Nov 2015 by midcenturyjo

My friend Meg loves all things Scandinavian so when she asked for help decorating her tiny apartment I knew where to look for inspiration. Why Fantastic Frank of course! This real estate company is know for the fab styling and magazine worthy images that set their listings apart from all the others. Meg loves all things white and wood. I think we hit the jackpot with this teeny 26 m² apartment. Mirrors bounce the light and “extend” the room while the autumnal hints are so pretty. If you love it and have to have it unfortunately it has been sold but you can find the listing here.
