I’m stalking one of my favourite style mavens. Interior designer Pamela Makin of Les Interieurs has cast a spell over this tiny pied-à-terre at Rushcutters Bay, Sydney and created an inner city oasis. If I bought it I would have to insist that everything stays. Link here while it lasts.

I am always drooling over Parisian apartments and how stylish they all seem to be, and this one is no different. Remodeled by architect Julie Nabucet (whom I featured here), this one has beautiful chevron hardwood, some sweet light fixtures and fun colours in the kitchen. Creating a banquette situation against the kitchen island was a really smart space-saver for a dining area. 

Small on space but big on stylish ideas, this studio apartment in Brunswick, Melbourne may have sold but we can still file away some small space living ideas. Link here while it lasts.

This was at one point Kevin Dumais‘ apartment. A Manhattan studio on the Upper East Side that is only 350 sq ft. It used to be painted butter yellow and baby blue, but Kevin had his way with it and spiffed it up into a proper gentleman’s quarters. This was several years ago mind you and I am hoping he has managed to move up. Because I frankly can’t imagine living in so little space for very long, especially since he was working from home. A sad little cookie cutter apartment has received a dramatic makeover by Brisbane interior designer James Dawson. His Marine Parade Apartment design features bold black and white wallpaper, polished brass custom designed door handles and a bespoke “hidden” kitchen island bench (sexy legs!). Have you noticed the trend of “non-kitchen” kitchens lately especially in small open plan areas? Perhaps not the best for family living but this bijou apartment is all about drama and theatre and definitely more striking bachelor pad than kid friendly hangout. Crack open the champagne darling. It’s in the fridge somewhere behind those gorgeous black doors.
