Within the refurbished château/farmhouse of designer Pierre Yovanovitch in Fabrègues, Provence is the marriage of rustic and sophistication. Plasterwork, stone and wood form the backdrop to modern and vintage furnishings and artwork. Each room more beautiful than the next.

More drama – Paseo de los lagos

Making a statement again with art, dramatic furnishings and in this case within a very large, modern home. Not for the timid. I don’t know many people who would be on board with sliding doors upholstered in bold fabric with huge silver lightning bolt handles. Among other things….. The owners must be art collectors. Or own a gallery. Another project by Carlos López of L.A. Studio.

Flamboyant modernism in a Madrid home

Posted on Wed, 27 May 2020 by KiM

Flamboyant, sassy, modern, vintage, colourful, dramatic…I love everything about this Madrid home designed by Carlos López of L.A. Studio. There is so much energy and just a general aura of coolness here.

I am mesmerized by the Swedish home of Fredrika Magnusson Ciotti of Art N Deco. It is life meets art. When you run a vintage furnishings shop how could you not bring work home with you? A beautiful space filled with beautiful things. Via Elle Decoration Sweden, photos by Mikael Lundblad.

This impeccably curated loft in Willamsburg, Brooklyn, belongs to interior designer Leyden Lewis. The 800 sq ft space is filled with books and art, creating lots of drama and gives the impression that it’s like a mini art gallery/museum/library. I adore this.
