Another visit with Jason Arnold

Posted on Mon, 3 May 2021 by KiM

It’s been a few years since we featured the work of Nashville interior designer Jason Arnold here and here, and I continue to be smitten with his spaces that are sophisticated yet livable, classy and timeless, old mixed with new.

OK. OK. I may have changed my mind. Not about the skill of London-based interior designers Forbes Rix but about what cottage of theirs I want. The conservatory/kitchen in this house is just what we all need in these times of social distancing. Who needs to go out?

A fabulous English family home

Colour doesn’t have to scream at you “Look at me. Look at me.” Colour can surround you quietly, uplift you, calm you, delight you. This lovely Georgian house in Lewes, East Sussex by Cave Interiors is just such a place. Fabulous family fun.

Pink and Green

Bathrooms need not be mundane. London-based Boundary Space has designed these colourful (all be it extravagant) bathrooms to put a smile on your face. Think glamour, luxury and decadence in pink and green.

Ebony and Ivory

The designer calls the project “Ebony and Ivory”. I call it a sophisticated, contemporary home with not only a play on black and white but texture and the clean lines of modern design.  By Chicago-based interior design firm SKIN.
