I love a glimpse into a designer’s own home especially when they take the chance to think outside the box. Tali Roth‘s exuberant and eclectic style shines through in her Melbourne home. Colour, design classics and her own pieces create a fabulous and fun family home. “Textural, layered & useful spaces full of bold forms and patinas you can literally lean in and touch.”

Heidi Caillier continues to be one of my all time favourite designers and though I have about a million ideas about what I would do in my next house, I’m fairly certain it would be heavily influenced by Heidi. Old World British and embracing architectural details but bringing it all into 2023 with lots of colours and patterns and really cool lighting. “Paying homage to the design eras of the past, Fletcher House sees the revival of classic pieces in a contemporary manner, evoking a feeling of nostalgia in the home setting. Funky forms in unexpected moments add a layer of playfulness to this Tamarama residence and creates a juxtaposition between the earthy, textural qualities inspired by the beach and the urban sophistication of an inner city dwelling. Designed for memories to be made and relaxation to be met.”
Classic with a modern twist mixing beachy vibes with city chic. Think stylish living with a party vibe. Fletcher House by Sydney-based architecture and interior designer collective SE DÉA.

Layers of materials and texture, art and furniture styles. Packed with personality and life. Warm, elegant and rooted in the house’s history and sense of place. It’s about balance. It’s about joy. It’s about stylish liveability. A house in Kensington by Notting Hill Interior Design duo Studio Vero.

The peacefulness and warmth that this Newport Beach, California home exudes with its soothing pastel colour palette, and it’s classic décor with pretty florals and stripes, makes it so family friendly and comfortable. Designed by Casey Hill, it is just oozing with feminine, pretty vibes and I can’t help but smile from all of the charm it exudes. Photos: Laura Resen; styling: Lisa Rowe.
