And for a bit more of Tamsin Johnson‘s gorgeous and unique home. What appears to be the lower level hangout space with lounge spaces, bar, pool, library, and the loveliest bathroom. Just when you thought it could not get any better….

You may have seen these photos before as this jaw-dropping, spectacular home in Darling Point of designer Tamsin Johnson (that she bought at the height of the pandemic!) made the rounds of magazines/blogs etc. but I thought it was a shame to not share something THIS GOOD here as well. It’s old and new, historic and modern, whimsical and elegant, and has a WOW factor that can’t be beat. I adore every inch of it. And this isn’t all. More to come later. (Photos: Anson Smart)

Steps from the Highline, this townhouse is situated across the street from a city park and playground. As a result, the south-facing street façade is bathed in daylight. This complete transformation of the interior architecture responded to these site conditions by placing the kitchen at the front of the building, maximizing park views and sunlight. An enlarged rear façade opening, and renovated terrace space extend indoor living outdoors and to the garden. The creation of a double height parlor living area allows relief to the stair circulation through the introduction of a mezzanine. The renovation included new building systems, reconfigured room layouts to allow a floor-through primary suite, and new bathrooms for family living.

Exclusive eight-room hotel in an 18th century building in Begur, a complete project in which the studio has been in charge of the concept, branding and image as well as the whole restoration and decoration. The traditional Catalan house required a thorough structural reform to be later updated with traditional techniques and materials Quintana Partners also incorporated the latest technology to reuse energy and water resources to achieve energy sufficiency The starting point of the decoration are inspiring women from the early twentieth century, whose personality has been reflected in each room, such as Charlotte Cooper, English tennis player, the first woman to win the Olympic Games, Emilie Flöge, muse of the painter Gustav Klint, textile designer, or the dancer Carmen Amaya, a devotee of Begur.
Absolutely beautiful. What a dream to be able to spend a few nights here.
