This is a lot of house for a vacation home but what a vacation home it is! Built in 1770, this riverfront home in Easton, Maryland designed by Jess Weeth of Weeth Home honours its history and was at the same time brought into the present making it a functional and beautiful for years to come. I love that it has a bit of sophistication, cottagecore, and beach vibes. Nestled in the tranquil Mt. Baker National Forest, Lisa Staton‘s A-frame cabin, built in the late 1970s, has undergone a complete renovation. The space now features reclaimed oak floors replacing the original shag carpets and fresh white walls. The redesigned kitchen boasts black oak cabinets, marble countertops and an open layout, while furnishings blend New England elegance with mid-century vintage charm for a cozy, stylish retreat.

After years of disjointed renovations, this 1920s Colonial underwent a comprehensive transformation for a cookbook author and her family. Lisa Staton Interior Design reimagined the layout, moving the kitchen and main living areas to create a spacious, open space for cooking and entertaining. Inspired by East Coast residences and English country homes, the design balances openness with intimacy, ensuring the home is both inviting and cozy.
