The clients’ enthusiasm and impeccable taste inspired a design journey blending grandeur with comfort. Rich materials and meticulous craftsmanship showcase the clients’ fine art and mid-century Italian furniture, creating spaces for entertaining and a serene sanctuary for relaxation.

I am completely in awe and frankly quite jealous of these spaces in a 1920s Tudor home designed by Whittney Parkinson. You’ve got a spacious kitchen with gorgeous cabinetry & countertops & arched tiled wall & a statement hood fan situation with a gem of a butler’s pantry, a mudroom and laundry room that are so functional but also soooo stylish, and a pile of bathrooms that have such pretty details, never mind that one of them looks larger than my living room. *GASP*

Becca Casey of Becca Interiors knew the 1950s Provencal-inspired home had potential on her first visit. Its single-level layout boasted tall original windows, flooding the space with natural light. Stripping down floors and walls to the studs Becca began the transformation infusing the rooms with English influences. Antique beams from Philadelphia and an Italianate marble fireplace adorn the living room, while a stone trough graces the powder room. A neutral palette and white oak floors throughout offer a warm welcome while what was once a guest room is now a charming nursery.

Shape, texture, and materiality converge within the walls of this warm and inviting home that places artistry and comfort on a pedestal. 
Designed by Heidi Woodman Interiors, this home is so perfect in so many ways and has so much to offer that I think it would be a hit for the masses. The architecture has both modern and traditional elements, the colour palette is neutral and earthy with just the right amount of black accents, the furnishings all look like you could just sink into them and have a nap, there’s just a bit of pattern that is on the traditional side which is a pretty contrast to some of the modern art, textures that look incredibly cozy….

The Treehouse is filled with character and feels so welcoming. It is a bit coastal, and bit Scandi, a bit cottagecore, a bit granny chic, with a big dose of vintage (especially the bedrooms – love them!). I adore this home designed by Portland, Maine-based Heidi Lachapelle Interiors.
