A remodel of a California Mid Century home, lovingly architected and built by Meghan’s grandfather, Donald Park, in 1950. As an homage to the architecture, we drew upon his original design details for inspiration and playfully updated the finish palate to give the home a warm but revived sensibility. For the furnishings, we referenced 60’s Ranch House decor, which allowed us to introduce traditional fabrics and classical silhouettes into the post and beam setting.
I love midcentury architecture but often wonder what direction I would take with the décor if I owned a home in this style. Though I may love MCM architecture, I don’t necessarily want the décor to be so typical of the period. This, my friends, is exactly how it should be done. Meghan Eisenberg did her family proud. Traditional and yet edgy and young. Think mid-century scandi meets quintessential English cottage. What a great mix for this Bridgehampton home by Augusta Hoffman Studio for a couple who wanted it all.

I have never seen a more vivacious, flamboyant, vivid and spirited home than that of creative consultant Max Hurd in collaboration with designer Benedict Foley. This Victorian terrace house in London could not be more fun and energizing. The attention to detail and the somewhat random colours used throughout his home….someone with a home like this must have such a wonderful outlook on life. I want to be his friend. A magical child’s bedroom full of wonder and whimsy by Meta Coleman. It’s a room celebrating the inhabitant’s love of nature and race cars. Maximalism with plenty of storage for containing the inevitable creative chaos. What a fabulous space for inspiring imagination and learning!

Cottagecore is not something you would automatically associate with a New York apartment but this Horatio St space by Augusta Hoffman embraces the love of pattern and colour we have come to expect in a pretty English countryside home. The look is refined and considered with a celebration of sprigs of flowers on walls and furniture. You could almost be forgiven for expecting a blowsy cottage garden outside not the bustling streets of the Big Apple.
