It’s my mantra. You’ve heard it often enough. If you have to drag yourself into work on a weekend it certainly helps if it’s somewhere amazing like the showroom/office of shirt company Frank & Eileen by Melody Weir.

Thank you to Silje for sending us the link to this now-sold apartment that was recently listed in Oslo, Norway. She says this is typical of the style that is happening there at the moment and I have to say, it is very easy on the eye! The colour palette is so warm and inviting. Combined with the exposed brick walls, the bright light flowing through each room and the collection of greenery it is no wonder this apartment was snapped up! Link here.

An attractive entry tempts you into this Edwardian era house and once inside you will not be disappointed. A soft white and grey colour palette allows the modern furnishings to sit comfortably within the beautiful, traditional bones. My favourite spot? The dining area off the kitchen. This Greenwich Village home is clean lined and classic, modern and beautifully edited. A color palette of greys is accented with pale woods and rich cognac leather while layered textures increase the sense of warmth. A key to the success of the rooms are the statement art pieces adding life to the spaces.

It’s like I say time and time again. If you have to drag yourself into work on a weekend it helps if it’s somewhere stylish. I think I’d be very happy working at the New York offices of Comfortzone by Melody Weir.
