Isabelle Juy is the creative brain behind L’Atelier d’Archi, an interior architecture firm based in Paris. She has designed several hotels, but I am really taken with the homes and apartments she has created. Regardless of the style of the spaces, there is an underlying rustic touch to the architecture that is so appealing. I could totally live in any of these spaces. 

Should we run away? Should we pretend? Should we dream of a shed at the end of the garden? Forget our cares and woes? Should we? Could we? With the help of stylist Louise Rastall we just might. Dreamy days filled with soft muted colours, bright, fresh houses, gardens and picnics. Lovely.

Jorge Rangel, an interior architect/designer in Barcelona, Spain sent along some photos of a project he just completed. It is a completely renovated 100m² apartment that Jorge designed in a black, white and gold colour palette. Several small rooms became one large living space….which even houses a large spa bathtub. Now as you’ll see below, it’s not your average location of a tub but hey, if you enjoy bathing and cooking, or enjoy bathing and watching someone cook for you, then this is the layout for you! (I do love the colour scheme, and the floors are fantastic, especially installed on a bit of a diagonal).

I had to share this home, also from Home & Delicious (photos by Gunnar), as it is serene like the last one but has quite a bit more drama and elegance. It is the home of decorative painter Auður Skúla and her family. The grey and white colour palette is beautiful, and that kitchen is absolutely dreamy. *sigh*
