Tanya Collins

Posted on Fri, 1 Nov 2013 by KiM

Tanya Collins is an interior designer located here in Ottawa and I am so pleased to have found a local designer that has talent and a keen eye! (They seem to be hard to come by around here). Her kitchens and bathrooms are divine, and her spaces have a wonderful energy. Maybe I should hire her. 🙂

Gotta love gold

I’m obsessed with gold/brass accents. Mix it with some marble and it’s pretty freaking sexy if you ask me. 🙂 Via Michaelis Boyd.

A simple stylish kitchen

Posted on Tue, 8 Oct 2013 by midcenturyjo

Sometimes you don’t need all the bells and whistles. Two ovens, fridge the size of a third world country, massive island, slabs and slabs of marble on walls, floors and anywhere, butler’s sink big enough to swim in, walk in pantry, flower arranging bench. I’m sure I’ve forgotten something. Sometimes, many times you just can’t afford it even if you want it or your little home just can’t fit it in. Sometimes simple is necessary, simple is good, simple is stylish. Like this little kitchen by Luke Stanley Architects.

Artichoke

Artichoke is a group of designers of the highest quality bespoke kitchens, architectural interiors and furniture in the UK. This is what I would like to call kitchen porn folks. KITCHENS KITCHENS KITCHENS. And they are FAB U LOUS. There really is nothing like a massive island to really make a kitchen.
