Falken Reynolds

Posted on Thu, 25 Oct 2012 by KiM

Chad Falkenberg and Kelly Reynolds make up Vancouver interior design firm Falken Reynolds. Here’s another Canadian firm I wish I had of heard about sooner. Their work is so diverse – they clearly adapt to the style of their clients and they execute it all with perfection. From palatial homes to tiny condo retreats, they’ve dabbled in all kinds of spaces. I’ve got a particular project of theirs to share with you later today, but for now, here are some bits and pieces from their portfolio. P.S. LOVE those chairs above!

sietemares

Seems we haven’t gotten enough of gorgeous beachy homes in Uruguay. Here’s yet another one for you, again by Martín Gómez Arquitectossietemares is a gorgeous residence also in Punta del Este located near the town of José Ignacio and the Atlantic ocean, and is surrounded by a eucalyptus forest. It was designed to be used as a vacation rental with 3 independent suites and a living and dining area with a semi-integrated kitchen. It is absolutely gorgeous and I would LOVE to spend a vacation there. For more information check out their site. What a perfect way to end the work week.  *SIGH*

White, light and dappled shade

Another day, another daydream, another dream beach house from Martín Gómez Arquitectos. The more I see of Gómez’ vision for Punta del Este the more I need to move to Uruguay. If white and wood and lots of light are key prerequisites for your perfect surf side abode then this house will certainly please. Love the long shaded patios that are so prominent in Gómez’ work. Perfect for long lazy alfresco living.
