Given all the loveliness in the portfolio of Transition State, I could not stop at just one post. Here are more deliciously neutral spaces by this talented trio.

Lauren Schneider, Kelli Riley and Jenna Rochon are the trio behind LA based design studio Transition State and this project is a lesson in how to use neutrals and textures to create incredibly serene and inviting spaces that aren’t bland and boring. (I wish I had taller ceilings and an empty corner – would love one of those black olive trees like in the first 2 photos).

“When design minded individuals connect in the way we did with our Rotterdam Terrace client, magic happens.”
From the six-meter windows and pooling linen curtains to the oak fronted kitchen with its green and caramel coloured stone countertops. From the white painted, exposed rough brick to the expanse of smooth concrete floors. Brass details, vintage leather, filmy track screening of windows and wardrobes. Pared back with a wabi sabi meets modern vibe. Rotterdam Terrace by Dutch firm Avenue Design Studio.

I love a mix of eras. This farmhouse cottage was given a dash of modern and I love the contrasting styles. By Kelly and Co. Design, this home includes some beautiful art, earth tones throughout and lots of really textured fabrics, particularly linens, that make this casual and cozy.

Connecting with nature out in the country, with nothing but fields and trees and wildlife as far as the eye can see is just what I could use right about now while stuck at home. How peaceful living here must be, especially at a time like this. This is the home of interior stylist Adeline Maillet and her family, in Lyon, France design by architects Stéphanie and Damien Gallet. Via The Socialite Family.
