I spotted this 45mapartment on the real estate site Lagerlings and wanted to share as this is such a telling example of what architectural details can do to trick the eye into believing a space is not as it as it appears. In this case tall ceilings and dramatic windows make the space appear larger. Even with the addition of a crittall-style bedroom separation it provides an air of grandeur. Gorgeous!!!

When it comes to interiors, my taste ranges quite drastically. I love the ornate details in a restored Victorian home, and I also will completely fall in love with very simple, modern architecture. This modern take on a farm house with a Scandinavian vibe is refined, serene and subtly beautiful. By Kaemingk Design.

I say it time and time again. If you have to drag yourself into work on a weekend it helps if it is somewhere incredibly stylish.  Case in point, these refined corporate headquarters by Atlanta-based Susan Ferrier Interiors.
