Yes still French

Posted on Mon, 3 Aug 2015 by midcenturyjo

I’m still French in my dreams. I’m still living in a fabulously chic French apartment. Faded grandeur, flea market finds, an easy Parisian glamour. Yes still French. Apartment in the historic Place des Vosges by Marianne Tiegen.

When looking through Manhattan interior designer Tori Golub‘s portfolio, you may mistake it for an ad for 1stdibs. Which means each item of furniture, lighting and accessory is a statement piece. Her interiors are works of art, sculptural and organic. I’m obsessing over the art in the photo below.

Serene

Quiet probably the most serene guest room I have ever seen. Yes I know it may not be practical. It is, after all, a room from a showhouse but it is beautiful. I can imagine it as a day room for lounging or reading, taking a coffee, reclining opposite a confident guiltily sharing tasty tidbits of gossip in hushed tones. Just tuck the bedlinen away in that lovely lacquer cabinet. Lake Forest Showhouse Guest Suite byMichael Del Piero.
