Jasmin Reese Interiors is a Chicago-based Residential Luxury firm that also services Naples, Florida. Her instinct is blending antiques with modern elements, dark finishes mixed with light, feminine tones contrasting with masculine, and high low pieces. Her signature style includes bold wallpapered ceilings that allow artworks to be at eye level and artfully designed “color bomb” rooms that are whimsical and sophisticated at the same time. Ironically, her rooms appear very maximalist at first blush- however, they have limited, edited furnishings and simple styling for a classic and timeless tone.
So sassy! If you love bold colours and patterns this one’s for you.
This Notting Hill apartment designed by Vanrenen GW Designs is a bit of a modern approach to classic English style with the prettiest shades of pink, blue, green and yellow. So many beautiful patterns too. I’ve taken to spending what little free time I have scouring Etsy for any patterned textiles. I’m obsessed 🙂
It’s the meeting of two halves. It’s traditional and contemporary, country and coastal, colour and pattern, farmhouse and now event and accommodation space. The whole is a country house chock full of personality and style, strong and bold. Greyleigh in Kiama north of Sydney by Duet.

It’s about colour and joy as well as storage and sightlines. This handsome, four-storey Edwardian home exudes comfort and conviviality without compromising on practicality. The ground floor plan was rationalised, storage prioritised with a home for everything and everything in its home as well as lots of opportunities to display the family’s “treasures”. The south London home of designer Octavia Dickinson and her family is full of life. Lots of lively colours, patterns, artwork and antiques make this home bright, invigorating and casually comfortable. (Photos: Paul Massey & Harry Crowder)
