There’s nothing like a rustic interior with bits of modern to keep things current… throw in Spanish architecture and I’m packing my bags. These spaces designed by Mestre Paco, based in Mallorca, Spain are just the right amount of rustic and modern. They’re easy-going, easy maintenance (no scatches on the floor!), and in my humble opinion, pretty sexy.

I thought you might enjoy some eye candy by Danish photographer Frederikke Heiberg. Perfectly composed, perfectly staged, and perfectly executed so you feel like you’ve just interrupted a private moment. Love that.

I can’t believe it! My how time flies. Est Magazine turns 2 with Issue #9 out now. No terrible twos tantrums for the Est team though, just wonderful, wonderful homes and lifestyle the very best from Australia and around the world. Seriously my favourite online magazine. Here’s a little sneak peek at what you’ll find in the latest issue… the contemporary French inspired home of the Hilary Gwillim from Melbourne homeware emporium, Manon. The photographer is Tara Pearce and producer/stylist Stephanie Stamatis.

This is another favourite home designed by Mariah O’Brien. It’s located in Santa Monica and it’s just as inviting, energetic and eclectic as the last home – but not quite as bright. And the cute Boston Terrier is a bonus. 🙂
