And now for the dark. If you enjoyed seeing photos of the progress going on at Jo’s place, I think you’ll appreciate this post. It’s a home bathed in black (mostly). It’s moody, modern and gives off a completely different vibe than my post earlier today. Which would you prefer?

This is the first of 2 posts I have for you today. There is such a huge difference in the mood of a space depending on the colour scheme used…whether it be light or dark. This space is all about white and beige. Classic and French-inspired. The perfect space for a bookworm (although it could use some work – some of the furnishings are just plain icky).

Monday’s pets on furniture – part 2

If you’d like to send us photos to include in next week’s “pets on furniture” post, please ensure your photos follow our basic rules: First, the pet must be on a piece of furniture. And said piece of furniture must be clearly visible in the photo, so it takes center stage rather than your pet. Think of it more of a photo of a great piece of furniture that you want to show off…and your pet happens to be sitting on it. And second, the photo must be of decent quality. If it’s dark or fuzzy (from a camera phone) then it may not make the cut. Thanks! He loves to lay in the sun on the kitchen table and he always looks so cute I can never kick him off!

this is our old shihtzu who really had thoughts he owned whole house, till cockatoo Sugar made Pierre his personal perch! both were fine with the arrangement and would frequently nap that way! under close supervision of course, as both had cantankerous tendencies!!!!
