I love Dana Gallagher‘s work. This talented photographer weaves dreams with light and shadow. Her shots are luminous and her passion for interiors (and food and lifestyle and beauty) shines brightly too. It’s not the first time I’ve lost myself in her portfolio. I keep going back to search for my favourites. The last image is one of them. Simple, understated elegance for this holiday season. Beautiful idea, beautiful photograph. Images via her rep’s site.
The winter issue of British magazine Heart Home is launching tomorrow and it looks seriously promising, as per usual. They sent me some photos to share with you all and after twisting my arm (HA – totally kidding) I figured why not. Especially after seeing the photo above (Hilde Mork’s living room). That space is so gorgeous I want to eat it.
I’m facing my Mondayitis. I’m not running away to a virtual bolt hole. My new solution is a strong dose of something beautiful. Today I’m in love with this glorious photograph by Beth Evans. Drink it in. Stay still. Sigh it out. Done.
Industrial spaces make me happy. They have history, texture, patina, are filled with intriguing and eclectic vintage finds, and to me exude a lived in, comfortable and very casual feel (if done ‘properly’ otherwise can be too cold). Photos again from the portfolio of Patrik Hagborg.
I can’t get enough of Swedish interiors. All that white, bold colour accents, vintage vibe, eclectic mix of styles…. and in this case it’s all captured effortlessly by photographer Patrik Hagborg.
