I am off to tour some gorgeous homes today at the annual Glebe House Tour, and thought a tour of this lovely one bedroom apartment in the U.K. would be a start to a new week. it is located in a 1930’s building and is packed with vintage charm. It looks like someone likes thrifting as much as I do. 🙂 Via JJ Locations.

I thought I would share a random assortment of images from other projects by Septembre Architecture. A renovation and extension of a traditional courtyard house in Hammamet, Tunisia… a wood cabin with sauna and bedroom on the island of Trossö, Sweden… a renovation of a 70m² apartment for a family of four in the 19th district of Paris… a renovation of a 70m² apartment in the 19th arrondissement of Paris… a renovation of a 110 m² apartment in the first arrondissement of Paris. Black, white and pattern. A seriously stylish, modern kitchen with adjoining dining by my new favourite Polish design firm Widawscy Studio Architektury.

The owners of this Cremorne, Sydney house wanted their interiors to be lived in, warm, inviting and “non-designery”. Their Queen Anne style home was redesigned and extended by Luigi Rosselli architects but they turned to interior designers Decus to weave the magic that saw traditional meet modern, Danish mid century sit with family friendly custom build and everywhere glorious art. Light, bright, modern with a nod and always stylish but never precious. Beautiful, unique, fun.

With its simple elegance and sense of modest luxury this family home at Bondi is just about perfect. The layering of textures, the black and white contrast, the composure, the calm, a little dash of drama. This is modern Australian at its everyday best. Fabulous interiors by Alwill with architecture by Michelle Orszaczky and landscape design by William Dangar.
