Time for another great photographer. Love the white white white and that light… gotta be a Scandinavian snapper. (The IKEA shots are a give away too.) Love the softly darkling of his shots. Softly darkling? OK I made that up but you know what I mean! Marcus Lawett is the super talented photographer and if you recognise some of the shots it will be because they were styled by Sofie Andersson, now Sofie Lawett. My Swedish obsession continues.

The 'it's beautiful here' rack is so gorgeous – don't remind me how much I want one 🙁

love the "JAM" letters, the polka dot walls(!)the bulletin board against the dark walls, the colored striped pillow outside, the purple (or pink?) pendant, and the purple couch in the back ground.

Inspiring stuff! And the 'softly darkling' of all of these images really is beautiful! 😉 Another fab post, Jo!

Love the last two especially–so calm and inviting, but still rich with color. Thanks for sharing!

hey julie, that "its beautiful here" rack is by awesome South African artist, Heath Nash. I bet if you contacted him, you could buy one… his website is http://www.heathnash.com/index.php

Julie,
Heath's a great guy and an incredibly talented designer. Unfortunately his work is so hard to find in North America. You can buy the rack in the US from foundation4.com. Some of his lighting is available too. I wouldn't typically plug a retail site uninvited on a blog, but I'm a huge Heath Nash fan and think his work should be owned and appreciated by as many people as possible.
