My beloved Oliver. 18 yrs old and still doesn’t know how a pillow works.

The simple life

This Shaker style house on the water is a new build with an old soul. Its timeless beauty lies in its simple lines and lack of extraneous decoration. I’m dreaming of wasting time sitting on the porch watching the river flow by or perhaps I’ll be standing at one of those lovely sash windows staring off into the distance. Who cares! I’m just lost in the romance of this farmhouse by Washington DC based Jones Boer Architects.

A new year, a new fabulous location home I am dying over! The kitchen in this home is so large, there is an olive tree growing out of the island! SAY WHAT?!?! I am adding that to my bucket list. Via Shoot Factory

Working on a Saturday

It may be a new year with new beginnings that doesn’t mean that it isn’t still hard heading into work on a weekend. Now if I worked here I’d have no problems at all, especially if I could do some research in the “library”. Twitter Paris by RF Studio.

Friday afternoon here …

Shoes off, drink in hand, work-a-day worries being washed away by the view. If I’m lucky there is a heavy swell crashing on rocks carried on the breeze ruffling my hair. Clovelly House by Sydney-based Fox Johnston.
