Here’s a couple from me. My living room is where all of the cats hang out in the late afternoons because the sun shines right through and warms up the space. They find all the best sunny spots. (You can find them on IG @cattttastrophic)
This apartment for sale in Östermalm, Sweden is a total gem. Fairly roomy, a mix of dark and light spaces with some funky mid-century furnishings and bold lighting, and some beautiful blown-up photography on the walls. That pretty much sums up all of my favourite things in a home. Available via Lagerlings.
I’m in the Sydney suburb of Annandale stalking the warehouse home of Julian Cress, Executive Producer of the Australian reality renovation show The Block. Originally his artist father’s studio, Cress and his family have transformed the vast shell into a modern home while retaining its industrial roots. Price guide is $4 million AUD so the vast majority of us will never be able to afford it but we can dream. Link here while it lasts.
It’s white, bright and totally livable. It’s family friendly, fresh and fab. I love the kitchen with its nod to traditional cabinetry and I’m seriously coveting the family bathroom. I love the theatre of a great entrance. It’s all about setting the scene for your visitors. “Welcome. Welcome. Come into my world.” And there’s nothing better than the drama of a black and white palette like this foyer and staircase by design studio Alison Rose New York. Simple yet luxurious, it’s a vibrant mix of black and white, old and new.
