We have created a very big furry family. We have 2 dogs and 3 cats; yeah, I know we’re crazy but they came to our lives in different ways and we strongly believe that nobody should be left behind. Boosha (left) and Fafi (bottom right) are our 2 teckels and Gato is the beautiful cat I fostered when I arrived in Montreal 4 years ago. Are you hanging your art right? A few tricks to nail the job (pun intended 😜): The center of the piece should be roughly at eye level, which is about 57 inches from the floor give or take. You also want the piece or grouping to be large enough to anchor the wall and any furniture below it. Art above a sofa should be at least 2/3rds the length of the sofa. If you’re hanging a grouping of smaller pieces, think of the whole grouping as one unit when using this guideline. P.S. This painting is by my childhood art teacher and it’s a view from Chincoteague island, where I used to go as a kid to visit the wild ponies. ❤️
