Restoration of a Regency villa

Posted on Thu, 12 Dec 2019 by midcenturyjo

An Izen Architecture Christmas house

Posted on Wed, 11 Dec 2019 by KiM

Sharing some Christmas cheer from Brenda of Toronto-based Izen ArchitectureLast summer we completed the construction of a renovation for which we designed both the architecture and interiors. Soon after, the client reached out again and asked us to design and install Christmas decorations throughout her house to surprise her husband!! This is one of the most thoughtful surprises I could ever imagine and we  brought on a couple of stylists that we had worked with during a previous shoot to help out.

This Paris home is brimming with elegance, sophistication and a little funk. The bathroom alone is worth its weight in gold…or purple marble. It’s so OTT fabulous. By French architects and interior designers Daniel and Michel Bismut.

A pleasing marriage of contemporary and rustic elements embues this Ibiza house with an easy sophistication. The white colour palette is warmed by wooden accents while statement black adds drama to the bedroom. Relaxed country elegance by the design studio Aaprile

“An elegant example of cohesive design, respectfully balancing heritage features with contemporary vision.” Armadale Residence II by Melbourne-based Studio Tate marries the concerns of modern day family living with the desire to preserve the high Victorian beauty of the original house. A neutral colour palette allows for statement pieces of art and furniture to add life to the interiors.
