Friday eye candy

TGIF, and good riddance to one of the longest weeks of my life. Thankfully it’s Thanksgiving here in Canada this weekend so THREE day weekend! And they’re calling for HEAT and SUN all weekend!!! This always happens here Ottawa, the city I love to hate. In the fall we suddenly get a few days of ridiculously hot weather and then POOF, the next day we’re in the minuses and a snowstorm hits. So I am definitively going to ditch the French books in exchange for some excursions around the city (and maybe to the cottage) this weekend. To end the week, I thought I’d share with you all some new photos from the portfolio of Dutch photographer Marjon Hoogervorst whom I featured back in December when I was also coincidentally looking for a respite.

…who loves black. There’s something I find really intriguing about one random black wall.
Black kitchen cabinets make for a sexy kitchen (particularly when paired with white subway tiles which creates just about my ideal kitchen…and add a white apron-front sink and wall-mount faucet and the heart palpitations begin).
A bedroom of black and white creates a combo of glamour/sexiness/mystery/masculinity. And I love the subtle drama of this space.

I am already totally sick of French classes and feel like my brain is about to explode. There’s a reason why I vowed to never go back to school after getting a Psychology degree and diploma in Computer Science. Learning hurts my brain!!! Some people love school. Me = not so much. So with that I leave you with some eye candy in the form of the wonderful photography of Londoner Mark Bolton. Something which managed to distract me if only for a short time.
