And now for the dark. If you enjoyed seeing photos of the progress going on at Jo’s place, I think you’ll appreciate this post. It’s a home bathed in black (mostly). It’s moody, modern and gives off a completely different vibe than my post earlier today. Which would you prefer?

This is the first of 2 posts I have for you today. There is such a huge difference in the mood of a space depending on the colour scheme used…whether it be light or dark. This space is all about white and beige. Classic and French-inspired. The perfect space for a bookworm (although it could use some work – some of the furnishings are just plain icky).

Monday’s pets on furniture – part 2

And said piece of furniture must be clearly visible in the photo, so it takes center stage rather than your pet. Think of it more of a photo of a great piece of furniture that you want to show off…and your pet happens to be sitting on it. And second, the photo must be of decent quality. If it’s dark or fuzzy (from a camera phone) then it may not make the cut. Thanks! Although she isn’t technically a ‘pet’, this is Olive an orphaned wombat which my parents hand-reared and released into the wild at their Farm in North-east Victoria. Here, Olive is pictured on one of the furniture pieces designed and crafted by my father.
