A renovated Brooklyn townhouse

A dilapidated 1890 townhouse in Brooklyn was gut renovated and restored and the result is clean, classic and timeless. Design studio nune kept it minimal and a bit Scandinavian. Such a stunning home. (Architect: Frances Mildred, Photos: Nicole Franzen)

A colourful family home

Where unexpected colour combinations and lots of fun wallpapers join forces to create a really fun family home in Hampstead, London. Designed by Jo Berryman.

Biba inspired paisley, smoked glass, shearlings, and jewel-tones velvets

A joyful and durable den by day, 70s lounge lover vibe at night

Glam with lots of black and brass

Shelby Girard (head of design at Havenly) defines her style as Parisian modern – a chic contrast of the minimal, the ornate, and the edgy. I would add glamorous to that list, which is evident in this black, dark blue, and more black home she designed, with lots and lots of brass accents. The dining room light fixture alone speaks volumes of her style. Love it!!! (Photos: Emily Sidoti)

A London townhouse that packs a punch

This Hampstead, London townhouse designed by Jo Berryman, is overflowing with personality and I absolutely love it.

If Carmela Soprano lived in NW3 and not New Jersey, her kitchen would totally look like this

An excavated basement creates space for a sunken living room and dining platform

Witty vignettes, irreverent colour palettes and artworks add dramatic layers that evolve with the house

Picture Gram Parsons and Emmy Lou Harris jamming within a haze of copal incense in this attic
