Maximising storage, letting in more light and above all keeping the character formed the brief for the renovation of this inner Sydney Art Deco apartment. Oh and a modest budget. A timeless palette, opening up walls, custom cabinets, polished floors and the use of mirrors to bounce the light were all employed to create a chic city home for a young family. I had to share another project by Minina Design that caught my eye. I REALLY love that they carried the yellow and grey throughout the 63 sq m apartment which makes everything flow and appear bigger than it is. And that yellow sofa against the graphic wallpaper is so fun!

I love the eclectic mix going on in this Moscow apartment of modern, bohemian and ethnic styles. It brings together the best of everything! And the grey and white backdrop means adding any accent colour is a quick and easy change when you need a boost. Wonderfully executed by Minina Design.

Right about now I’m dreaming about an unlimited budget where I could buy allllllllll the art. It seems whoever owns this apartment is lucky enough to have a really impressive art collection that takes centre stage. Brazilian firm Studio Ro+Ca helped to really make them shine.

I never in a million years would have that I could fall this much in love with a home where the accent colours are red, blue and yellow. And this kitchen is now added to my top 5 favourites (don’t ask me what the other 4 are LOL). I am head over heels for this 5,200 sq ft penthouse apartment, formerly a hospital, located in the heart of West Village. Designed by Studio Shamshiri, photos by Shade Degges.
