A limited palette but maximum appeal. Stark modern interiors by Paris architectural firm Joseph Dirand. Oh the luxury of pure minimalism. Imagine having a sleek and often hidden home for the “things” of everyday life. Clean lines may be cold to some but heaven to others. And just a hint of aged timber to warm the heart!
So as promised, here is more of Harts Lane. This is the 2 story studio behind the main cottage. Where the cottage was bathed in white and mostly pale colours (the black wall in the kitchen being the exception), this is dark, moody and very funky. I don’t know which I adore more.
I’m also including some photos of Simon’s other interior design works below because they were too fabulous not to feature. I mean, why stop now?
In my humble opinion, there is absolutely nothing more fabulous than mid-century modern and Hollywood regency. Pair these two styles (think Jonathan Adler) and I’m in heaven. PURE HEAVEN. My heart races when I come across portfolios as incredible as that of David Jimenez. I cannot believe Jo and I have not posted his work before. This genius of design has now made it to my top 5 list. His Palm Springs house, below, is something that dreams (mine anyway) are made of.
I’ve loved this house ever since we featured the dining room way back in April. This time the photos are from another location company Dixcot Locations and more of this amazing house is revealed. I’d move in tomorrow if I could. Glamour, design classics, acrylic and quirky touches make this place just too cool. Even a lovely mature garden with a rusted antique bench. The whole place is wonderfully flamboyant and fabulous. London here I come. And if I can’t make it then at least I can revisit this favourite over and over here.
Sometimes the day is just a little black. Things aren’t going great. Then you find something that makes you realise that black is OK. Hey more than OK. Absolutely stunning. These photos were styled by Lotta Agaton and taken by Pia Ulin. Both are represented by Agent Bauer. Amazing talent, amazing portfolios. My day is a lot brighter now.
