The dreamiest of bathrooms

Posted on Wed, 17 Jan 2018 by KiM

I have adored this bathroom for years, I think having first spotted it in the portfolio of Paul Raeside, one of my favourite photographers. Now I come to learn it is designed by Les Trois Garçons. Dreamy!!!

A kaleidoscope of colour

Colour, pattern, quirkiness. Style, finesse and personality. It’s playful. It’s sophisticated. It’s fabulous. I can’t think of a better way to start the new year on Desire to Inspire than this North London home by Australian born, London based designer Peter Mikic.

Blue and white in South Africa

Posted on Thu, 14 Dec 2017 by midcenturyjo

Layer upon layer, blue on white. A home for relaxing, for entertaining family and friends. Expansive ocean views and expansive hospitality. Natural elements are celebrated yet subtle and a fresh look comes with a change out of accent colours. Imagine earthy tones or shades of green. A mock Tudor-style house in England

Posted on Wed, 29 Nov 2017 by KiM

I love the gothic vibe and drama that comes with a Tudor-style house. This home in Hertfordshire, England is gorgeous and plays up on the Tudor architecture with dark blue and black accent colours. Some bold choices like the lighting and stools in the kitchen, a ceiling in high gloss navy and another in red, and black tile in the bathrooms help add to the drama. Another amazing project London-based Studio Duggan.
