I was flitting around the web when I came across Tim Cuppett Architects … again. You know I still love this house. I still love this room.
I realized it has been ages since I have done a chair porn post….which means this post is ALL ABOUT CHAIRS. I have a slight obsession you see. I can never get enough of chairs. I almost bought a couple of these Solair chairs in black a couple of weeks ago for the backyard but in the end decided I didn’t really need them. Still kicking myself for not getting them as I have wanted some forever (classic retro Canadian design at it’s finest). Stay tuned later as you’ll see my top 5 favs.
I love chairs, and all kinds – plush, wooden, canvas, leather, plastic, whatever floats my boat. Aside from some random vintage chairs and my Green Light District leather beaut, I currently have a couple of white Pantons, a faux Tolix from Homesense, and a few Eames (yellow shell, black leather shell and a kelly green upholstered armchair on wheels). I would love to add an Acapulco chair to the mix. Whether indoors or outdoors, this classic Mexican chair works anywhere, indoors or out on the deck. I thought it was about time I did a feature on this lovely chair.
