I love the modern, graphic feel of the work of international interiors stylist and creative director Louisa Grey. Eclectic and stylish. Pattern, contrast, a sense of illustration.

MOC

I’m loving these spaces by Karine Simonot and Stéphanie Maigret of MOC (Maison, Objets et Chantiers). Some bold colour accents, some always fabulous Eames chairs and some amazing architecture for an eye-catching backdrop.

A colourful apartment

Posted on Mon, 18 Nov 2013 by KiM

I found this fun apartment while doing some blog research and had to share. The 65m2 space is located in Villefranche-sur-Mer, France and is the creation of Turin, Italy based architecture firm MG2 Architetture. It’s a funky blend of modern and mid-century, bold and sassy colour and some of my all-time favourite lighting.

And a little bonus – a couple of extra spaces I found in their portfolio that caught my eye.

Ashley Whittaker encore

It is about colour and pattern, fabrics and finishes, detail and layering. It is a fresh and vibrant twist on traditional and classic. If the bleached out, overexposed, white, black and wood of Scandi design is leaving you wanting more then drink in the designs of Ashley Whittaker. (And even more in Kim’s previous post.)

Kishani Perera

It has been several years since we featured Beverly Hills interior designer Kishani Perera (here and here). She continues to leave me captivated with her elegant yet eclectic, classy yet comfortable interiors that seem to get better and better over time. Throw in some vintage industrial bar stools into a chic grey kitchen. Paint a door or dining room walls black for drama. Kelly green walls and kitchen cabinets for the daring. Love it all.
