Barn door, beautiful reclaimed wood, a dose of yellow, black Eames dowel chairs, concrete floors = a fabulous casual dining space. Via Edwards Moore.
He’s a taste maker, an A-lister, a breath of fresh air on Million Dollar Decorators. His is edgy meets traditional, elegant and casual, liveable and alluring. High end, high style and had me at “hello”. He’s Jeffrey Alan Marks.
Is it really five years since we were introduced to the work of Summer Thornton on Desire to Inspire? As is my habit I’ll skip back and forward through our archives and click over to websites to see what the designers and photographers, stylists and architects have been up to since we last visited. Imagine the smile that spread across my face when I revisited Summer Thornton Design and discovered her take on the bachelor pad. Masculine and multilayered, elegant yet casual when needed. A touch of humour and bucket loads of style.
I adore this cozy little cozy little dining space (even though the chairs are pretty wacky) so I had to share. When thinking of what I would say about it, my first random thought was when I finally get to meet Jo for the first time, what a perfect spot to sit together with pots of tea and plates of cookies and talk for hours, finally face to face. 🙂 Happy Friday!

I couldn’t get enough of Eric Piasecki‘s photos yesterday so here are a few I held back that I fell in love with, and thought they deserved their own post. Especially the one above. I now want a splotchy black wall desperately.
