At Amélie’s

When Batiik Studio transformed an old workshop in the 9th Arrondissement into a chic Parisian apartment the emphasis was on soaring ceilings and light circulating throughout the space. A neutral colour palette is matched with natural materials while a stunning gallery wall of art climbs the stairs in this warm and inviting three level home.

An English Arts & Crafts home

Back at you with more from Nina Farmer and this 1904 Arts & Crafts home outside of Boston that thankfully has most or its original woodwork still intact (and looking mighty fine!). The problem was the kitchen had renovated previously and needed a serious makeover. Nina went art deco with it and the result is one of the most beautiful and unique kitchens I have ever seen.

I published this post a couple of weeks before Christmas but I was a bad girl. I broke a press embargo but now that it has been published in Country Style magazine it’s time to feature this amazing holiday getaway again. An absolute must stay.

Introducing Room + Board the latest in the stable of fabulous accommodation properties by stylist and decorator Lynda Gardener. The purpose built open plan barn in the Victorian country town of Daylesford is part warehouse, part greenhouse and totally delicious. The perfect getaway for couples or single guests in Gardener’s signature style you can book here.
