Elena Frampton and her architecture, design and art advisement team at Frampton Co typically bring on the funk in their boldly graphic, highly artful spaces but this Bridgehampton estate is not that. And I love it just as much as say, this project, or this one. It’s modern farmhouse style with a calming, neutral colour scheme and art to coexist harmoniously.

An asteroid may have crashed into the Yucatán Peninsula at Chicxulub many, many years ago but this beachside residence in the same town by Mexican designer Sofía Aspe packs just as much punch. (I know. I know. Lousy pun.) Chic and sophisticated yet relaxed with a touch of rustic. Right now I’m daydreaming of sipping cool drinks in the seaside cabana.

Tip #1 for how to deal with winter (the kind of winter that involves below freezing temperatures and lots of snow): find yourself the coolest chalet to hang out it, and take in the views of the snow covered mountains while standing 3 inches from the fireplace. This place will do just fine. Designed by Laurence Simoncini.

Not your typical beach apartment but then again Cobalto Studio are not your typical interior designers. The Barcelona-based firm is equally as talented when it comes to art direction, set design, event concept design and prop styling. The apartment has a zen-like, rough luxe feel while paying homage to the traditional Spanish vernacular. Definitely not your mass produced holiday let look.Perfect for your stylish seaside getaways.

Believe it or not this 90 m2 apartment in Barcelona’s Gracia district was once 6 dark and pokey rooms before its transformation by Spanish-German architectural design firm YLAB Arquitectos into light filled zones full of clever doors that open and shut revealing or hiding the functions of daily living. As a girl who loves a cupboard or rather what can be concealed away in a cupboard this small apartment is ticking all my boxes. Not to mention that gallery garden. Sublime.
