You’re not going to believe this, but I found someone who possibly loves cats more than me!! Or at least spoils their cats more than I spoil mine. My name is S.T.A.R. (Star’s Things Altered and Recycled) A mixed media recycled artist residing in New York which has recently taken a detour into a personal cat adventure of building Cat Walks for some ultimate furry companions, also know as The “Choco-Lettes”. At this point in time there are over one hundred and forty feet of sky highway for these felines to clown around. Hoping to also inspire all cat lovers all around the world. You can see all the madness on my website. OMG my cats would loooooove this!!

Spent a good part of the weekend crawling around in our garden, securing the fence so this little bundle of love can run around freely again. I got muddy and she was psyched! I think I swallowed a fur ball! Scratchy throat and annoying cough- so apologies in advance to Peach @comedowntothewoods who I am sharing a room with tonight as we are heading to Ascot with @christy_home ! Good MORNING! I know i bang on about plants and medicine and meditation and altars and all that stuff…. But did you know, I’m also a Photographer who has worked for @apartmenttherapy for a few years now?💃I am a qualified Interior Designer but actually really disliked designing homes for people- I realised I just wanted to appreciate the finished product hahahaha! So this freelance job has been the best of both worlds for me. I get to immerse myself in beautiful, real homes but then also flex my creative muscle with my photography and writing skills. I was super lucky to get the opportunity to do this, and even though I don’t shoot as many homes as I used to, I love it when I get to share stuff like this! Warren had a tough day of sunbathing and napping on this chilly Sunday. He literally chases the sun spots around the house throughout the day 🌞. This room being his favorite! What a life! Ghosts of sofas past. I’ve been having a funny old time lately, I feel like in the last 6 months I’ve grown up more than I have in the last 6 years, even though in theory I’ve been a grown up for a lot longer than that. Despite this, I still don’t feel like a grown up and at this point guess I never will 🤷‍♀️. I haven’t seen much of my Mum lately but the amazing @willowhairdesignnz synchronised our appointments yesterday which was fun and lovely! Gut morgen. Day 4 of #myhousethismonth is my little haven. Overtaken – usually by over affectionate cats and fidgety twins; here is my retreat. Before I had kids I used to spend a lot of time in the bedroom, ohhh error, I hear you sniffer. Well obvs. There was ‘that’ 🍆too; but I really mean I would often prefer to retreat to my room in adulthood even though I had the rest of my home to relax in. Maybe am just an eternal teenager. Nowadays I read to the kids here and sleep (and the later has only been achieved in the past two years or so! ) Looking forward to having a browse through all your entries. Happy #blackcatday from my very favourite one! Black cats are the least likely to be adopted – possibly because of superstition, and (crazily) more recently because they don’t make good social media fodder due to them being hard to photograph. Personally I’m a big fan of being a bit spooky, and for a black blob with eyes I think he takes a rather good picture! I love Eddie Danger to the moon and back, he’s the best cat in the world! It’s not always obvious on Insta just how big a part of my life he is but he’s always here, being adorable and for the most part good!
