Christmas spirit

Posted on Sun, 13 Dec 2020 by KiM

Everyone is getting into the Christmas spirit and since I don’t decorate for the holidays (I mostly blame the cats because they would play with and try and eat everything) I am living vicariously through others. I am always a fan of how Scandinavians decorate with typically alot of greenery so I tend to devour sites like sköna hem this time of year. This Norwegian home they featured is just how I like my Christmas decor – simple and fresh.

Chicago interior designer Crystal Blackshaw turned this drab older home into an exuberant, playful, approachable space with the help of some paint, tile, wallpaper, bamboo blinds and some warm and graphic fabrics. What a stunner!

Alison Giese Interiors based in San Antonio is all about creating eclectic yet timeless homes with soul. Liveable, comfortable, with a level of class that will endure. This first kitchen is so simple yet gorgeous with a hint of Parisian café chic. Stashing it away in my inspiration folder as I am on the hunt for ideas for my eventual kitchen renovation that needs to highlight my new art deco light fixtures.
