I would give anything to take a vacation right now. And I think I have found the perfect spot! Los Enamorados is located in northern Ibiza, in the harbour of the little seaside town of Portinatx. This little paradise hotel consists of 9 rooms, a restaurant, beach bar and little shop (which includes some vintage finds). The decor is colourful, and rustic and sooo inviting. Oh how I would love to spend a week here!

I’m always a fan of style mixin’, and in this apartment in Gdańsk, Poland it starts with some some classic moldings, chevron hardwood floor, a clawfoot bathtub and some exposed brick. This is all modernized in bright white with added built-ins, mirrored walls (storage perhaps?), contemporary furnishings and lighting and some funky tile work. Diana Stark is an architect and interior designer from Israel and this is her apartment in Netanya she shares with her husband and 3 year old daughter. She kindly sent over these photos for us to share with you. The space used to be several small rooms with an enclosed kitchen but she brilliantly came up with a more open-concept and kept it very modern and neutral so she could add interest in the details – a bit of bold (and not so bold) wallpaper, some really gorgeous tile laid vertically (love that!) and some glass elements. I love lots of textures and patterns in a home, when done really well. This home designed by Boston-based designer Lindsay Bentis of Thread Art and Design is a lesson in how to add lots of patterns via wallpaper, tile, rugs and pillows and not overdo it. The vibrancy and energy here is really a feast for the eyes. There is just so much to look at!

The exterior of this home blew me away, but how San Antonio-based architecture firm Poteet Architecture updated the interior left me speechless. A fantastic example of taking something old, preserving the elements that should be saved and updating the rest for a young family. This isn’t your granny’s house anymore!

The carriage + pool house is as awesome as the main house. LOVE!!!
