Norcross and Scott Home

Posted on Thu, 7 May 2020 by KiM

Whether leaning towards traditional or modern, Chicago based design firm Norcross and Scott Home create welcoming dwellings that are functional and thoughtfully curated. I am quite fond of their more traditional spaces and can’t seem to tear myself away from the photo above. Love all the treasure in that space!

More traditional + contemporary

Another take on traditional meets modern in this elegant home designed by Carmiña Roth. With a backdrop of white, the antiques and artwork really pop and make the wonderfully eclectic spaces uplifting.

A contemporary take on traditional

Many of the elements in this Watch Hill, Rhose Island beach house of designer Carmiña Roth are a nod to the traditional architecture of the home, but love how she pulled together some more contemporary elements to keep things fresh and relaxed. The result is timeless and comfortable, perfect for a family.

More magic from Meredith Kleinman

“The Encino project was a full scale remodel including windows for east coast transplants so they could have their dream of a little bit of New England country in Los Angeles.”

A little East Coast dreaming on the West Coast by the talented Meredith Kleinman Design. Beautiful light, careful curation and simple, meaningful rooms without being cliched or cartoony. The perfect way to “live” on both  sides of the country.

When the kids fly the nest

Posted on Thu, 16 Apr 2020 by midcenturyjo

What happens when the kids fly the nest and you’re ready for a change? And what happens when you engage a talented interior designer to make that change a reality? Why nothing short of magic. Los Angeles based Meredith Kleinman has created a sophisticated and layered home with a strong sense of the owners’ personalities. Can I tell you I’m madly in love with that canopied bed and chinoiserie screen? Swoon. Encino Hills residence by Meredith Kleinman Design.
