When vintage meets bohemian meets traditional in a cabin-like, autumn setting. This 3800 sq ft home in Marin County (San Francisco Bay area) was renovated and expanded by G.P. Schafer Architect, who retained the original 1870’s cabin elements. It is so inviting and full of charm. I could not love this more. Interior design by Rita Konig.

Seattle interior designer Heidi Caillier can do no wrong. I fall in love with every project she completes. This Tudor home is no exception. At first glance the design appears fairly traditional but it does not take long to notice the touches of mid-century and the fun prints and colours used throughout that keep it fresh and youthful.

Traditional with a twist. Good bones and history just right for a classical interior but with the addition of strong colour, Asian art, bleached walls and a rock and roll glam bathroom it’s not quite what you would expect. I want to see more please. Kensington Square by Studio Duggan.

This apartment located in the historic district of Prague, Czech Republic, embraces old world charm and takes it to a whole other level. Elodie Sire of d.mesure created a unique and magical home for her clients who love antiques (though I must admit I wish the rug in the living room wasn’t so modern).

Far from the basic shelters built for farm labourers on large estates this bothy was the charming home of interior designer John Tanner. Maximalist and traditional in style the tiny cottage shows that small space living does not need to be pared back and sterile. Beautiful, individual and dramatic.
