It’s been a long time since we’ve featured the work of interior designer Sera Hersham-Loftus (way back here and here). Sera’s designs are unlike those of any other designer I have ever come across. She is the queen of the boudoir look – seductive, glam, romantic and best of all, completely over-the-top. The following is a home in her portfolio she has dubbed The White House and I fell in love with it. It’s a bit more subdued than her typical designs and far more realistic and achievable. (Tomorrow, more spaces by Sera…but darker and brighter)

Portrait, landscape and interior photographer Antony Crolla is a master at composition and light. His photos are beautiful and taken at just the right time of day to take full advantage of sunlight streaming through windows. Lovely.

A big thanks to Nina for sending us a link to a real estate listing for a home in Sweden, and it’s not your average listing. The photos have been tweaked with an old-world treatment and the owners (I’m guessing) were asked to pose in several of the photos in costume. Nina thought the listing was lovely, and I did as well when I glanced through them briefly the first time. After a second and third look, my feelings changed towards CREEPY. It sort of reminds me of an old Hitchcock/horror movie where in the next shot all the participants will be sprawled in pools of blood. Am I nuts? What do you guys think?

Welcome to stylist Myrica Bergqvist’s home. It may be a tiny apartment but it’s packed full of style. How do these Swedes do it? Is it in their genes? Not only has Myrica created a beautiful small space home she is also responsible for the cool laser cut acrylic headboard and acrylic bowls.(You can see more of her range here.) It’s a funky mix of retro pieces and scandi white with Myrica’s personality shining through. My favourite spot? The kitchen/dining table… and the bedroom nook. What’s yours?

Nathalie, from France, sent along some photos of her home to share with our readers. She rents the home (located in a small village 50km south of Paris) and decorated on a budget, wanting to create a cozy space inside and out. In Nathalie’s words: …je crois que les associations de couleurs, de meubles et d’idées priment sur les moyens. I think it’s charming and I am very envious of her beautiful garden (and her pooch is adorable!).
