…or is it?

Israel-based Ando Studio designed this apartment in Saint Germain, Paris last year. The team of architects, interior designers and CG artists specialize in 3D renderings. So this apartment is….or isn’t…. Although either way it is freaking fantastic!

I’m arranging an inspection. Who wants to come? We can open the wardrobes, rifle through the drawers when the agent isn’t looking, find out who lives here. Then we can assume their lives and their house. That’s what stalkers do don’t they? No no no. Just kidding. That’s creepy. I would love to meet whoever owns this lovely home though. Great taste. Link here while it lasts.

A little art deco, and little mid-century modern, a little retro 50s….this home decorated by Madrid-based designer Marta de la Rica is about as eclectic as they come. And I absolutely adore it because it is such a random mix of styles. Eclectic wins me over every time.

A couple of months ago I featured this townhouse project by British architecture, interior and furniture design firm Minale + Mann, and thought I would share another because these folks have such a great eye for colour and scale. Love the “Farrow & Ball” shades in this one, and the kitchen is a DREAM. I only wish there were more photos.

I get excited when I come across photos of a home we have featured, but a different rendition. It’s interesting to see how homes evolve with with time. This is the home of Spanish decorator Serge Castella, that Jo featured back in 2012. This time around it is more grey than brown, and a bit darker overall. I think I prefer this version, as I am a sucker for grey and black.
