Jenn Feldman Designs

Posted on Wed, 15 Feb 2017 by KiM

When you don’t want your house looking like your neighbour’s. Jenn Feldman Designs – she’s all about in your face bold sophistication. Drama with dark colours, graphic artwork and fabrics and all the wallpaper! I am totally in love with her style – so much so there’s a part 2 to this post coming later.

Working on a Saturday

Posted on Sat, 1 Oct 2016 by midcenturyjo

It’s a conspiracy you know. Why do I have to work on a Saturday and others do not? Not fair I say, not fair. Now if I worked at the Detour Office – Grove Street by Dehn Bloom I wouldn’t complain at all. In fact I’d settle right in and never leave. That sitting area is better than my living room.

A French apartment?

Posted on Tue, 13 Sep 2016 by midcenturyjo

There is a certain French flair to this apartment, that look you know straight away, an easy sophistication… except it’s not in some chic Paris arrondissement but in Warsaw. So stylish, so elegant, so… well… Paris meets Poland. By Warsaw-based design firm Colombe.

Another project by Amie Corley

Following up Amie Corley with more Amie Corley! Anyone who uses 5 wallpapers in one home deserves a second mention. This home is bright, charming and has a great energy about it. Side note: she’s getting me hooked on those bistro chairs.

The joy of being French

Posted on Tue, 19 Apr 2016 by midcenturyjo

I can think of a number of words to describe this 240m2 apartment in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, colourful, eclectic, family friendly, stylish, but the word that sticks in my mind is joyous… or perhaps riot. A joyous riot of colour and pattern and style. Imagine the delight every morning when you awake to such a wonderful home.
