Perhaps I should rename this post “down the hatch”. Love the redesign of this home in the small town of Vedbaek in Rudersdal, Denmark by Danish design dynamos NORM.Architects.
P.S. The glass hatch reveals a hundred year old wine cellar below.

You know how I’ve been on a bit of a colour campaign lately? Well I fell off the band wagon. White with black accents layered with natural highlights. Yes please. The remodel of a West Village townhouse, built in 1817 by Matiz Architecture & Design in collaboration with Nathalie Goris.

I love my dark grey living room (you will see more of that in the next post) and hope to have a mostly dark walled house when I am done with it, but really bright and white spaces still do it for me. Here is a home available through 1st Option that is such a beautiful blank canvas. Love those windows with shutters!!!
P.S. If you have pets on furniture submissions please send them to kim[at]desiretoinspire[dot]net

Close the door on the hustle and bustle of the everyday. Calm, relaxed, stylish. Simple beauty in Brighton by Zoë Ellison and Alex Legendre of i gigi.
