An elegant apartment in Shanghai

Posted on Thu, 12 Jul 2018 by KiM

A little bit of glam, bling, and colour for your Thursday afternoon care of China-based designer Baptiste BohuLocated in one of the most luxurious residential tower of Shanghai, this apartment occupies the entire floor. The owners, a young and well traveled Chinese couple, share their life between Shanghai and Vancouver. They wanted a modern yet comfortable and elegant interior for their Shanghai apartment. Baptiste used premium materials which gave a very chic look and worked with a mix of French style and contemporary furniture.

My friend Roseline sent me a message the other day that her friend’s mom passed away suddenly and her beautiful farmhouse in The Netherlands has been put up for sale. Built around 1910 on the border of the towns of Knegsel and Veldhoven, it has been renovated and rebuilt several times over the years yet still maintains a time-worn look and appears to have been given a bit of an ethnic facelift recently. This home is absolutely stunning and what a dream it would be to put my mark on such a space. Listing details can be found here.

Keeping things simple and somewhat minimalist today with this loft apartment in London. Gorgeous worn wood floors, concrete columns, a dramatic dark panelled bedroom and some homeliness added in with some paintings and lot of plants makes this apartment something I could totally call home.
